GBROOS is managed by the Australian Institute of Marine Science (AIMS)
on behalf of a consortium of partners including the folloiwng:
- University of Queensland
- James Cook University
- University of Sydney
- University of Melbourne
- Australian Museum
- Queensland Cyber Infrastructure Foundation (QCIF)
GBROOS is funded by the Australian Federal Government under the National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS) and the Queensland State Government through the Department of Tourism, Regional Development and Industry along with in-kind funding from the partcipating agencies.
The sensor network deployments are supported by the Tropical Marine Network (TMN).
